Microsoft Outlook is an email client used by millions of people worldwide. It is very popular in the United States as it allows users to access their email accounts from any PC that has a Microsoft Outlook interface. Microsoft Outlook is not similar to a web browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Outlook connects to mail servers and data stores, which are usually housed by Microsoft. In short, an Outlook user connects to an email server via a Windows-based PC.

Outlook support is a service provided by Microsoft that enables third party companies to customize and develop email services for customers. There are many things that Microsoft delivers as support services to its customers. One of these is Microsoft Outlook support. Microsoft delivers this support through third-party companies called Outlook service providers. There are different types of providers and they can be categorized as managed support, self-service support and stand alone support.

Microsoft Outlook is using to manage a person’s contact information, calendar and schedule.

An individual can organize all his/her emails into separate folders and view them at any time. Microsoft Outlook allows a user to check his/her email inbox using Outlook Express and search for specific emails in the search box. Another advantage with Microsoft Outlook is that it allows a user to send and receive emails on a webmail account such as Gmail or Yahoo.

Microsoft Outlook supports multiple email accounts such as a Hotmail account, a Gmail account, a Yahoo account, a computer account and a smartphone. The email account services offered by Microsoft Outlook range from basic account functions to advanced features. Basic Microsoft Outlook service includes managing the email folders, sorting, archiving and deleting mails. There are also functions that help a user find the name of an email address or a message in the inbox. A complete Outlook Express setup allows a user to work on his/her email accounts from any PC that has an Internet connection.

Microsoft Outlook Express can be accessed by connecting Windows Live ID cards to a Windows machine and then importing Outlook data. To help users manage their email accounts, Microsoft Outlook offers a Windows Live ID card viewer that lets them explore their Outlook Express email account through a virtual Windows Live ID card. This service is provided by Microsoft as part of the Windows Live Server. Live ID cards are created by the user and are automatically saved in the local computer on a daily basis.

Microsoft Outlook allows a user to create, edit and customize email folders and subfolders, as well as set up email filters.

These filters, which can be applied to an email message or an entire email account, allow users to specify criteria when sorting or searching for email messages. For instance, a user can specify the criteria by which he/she can sort his/her email messages according to the sender’s address, subject or message body. Microsoft Outlook also allows a user to create new mailboxes that store all the mail that has been received or sent, and new email messages that have been added to the user’s email account. This way, users can organize their in-box by categories, and search for specific email messages by keywords.

Microsoft Outlook Express also allows users to create and view multiple email folders and subfolders, and search for messages in the Inbox, Spam or Folders. When an email message is deleted, it is moved to the appropriate folder. Similarly, an individual can delete email messages in the bulk folder.

  • Microsoft Outlook provides various additional features including the safe senders list that provides a list of trusted senders, safe recipients and unasked senders.
  • The built-in Spam Filter option can be used to prevent unwanted spam mails from being sent to the recipient’s email account.
  • The built-in Mail Filter is also useful in blocking certain categories of mail while allowing others to pass through.
